Anja represents clients across various industries, including energy, financial services, high-tech manufacturing, construction and retail, in complex cross-border litigation and commercial arbitration. She regularly advises and represents clients in post-M&A, joint venture, corporate and general commercial disputes. Anja also has extensive experience in appellate advocacy and frequently represents clients before cantonal courts and the Swiss Federal Tribunal in both civil and administrative matters.
Anja has particularly strong experience in economic sanctions matters. She advises individuals and companies on Swiss sanctions regimes and represents clients in delisting proceedings, negative clearance proceedings and other regulatory proceedings before SECO, as well as in subsequent appeals before the Swiss Federal Administrative Court and the Swiss Federal Tribunal. She also advises on sanctions-related issues in contentious and transactional contexts and regularly represents parties in civil proceedings involving sanctions-related questions.
